Your community’s first line of defense in emergencies—whether it’s severe weather, flooding, highway closures, or other critical situations.


What We Do

Morris EMO coordinates local responses to:

  • Severe weather and high-water events

  • Highway closures—including when RCMP close Highway 75 

  • Public alerts and notifications during emergencies

 

How You’ll Be Alerted

In case of a major event:

For real-time road conditions, check Manitoba 511 mobile or text updates.

How Residents Can Prepare

  1. Sign Up for Alerts – Call the Town Office or complete the online form to make sure your info is current.

  2. Have a Go-Bag Ready – Include medications, water, important documents, and a flashlight.

  3. Know Your Radio Stations – Tune in at the first sign of an emergency.

  4. Check Provincial Resources – Visit the Manitoba EMO site for province-wide updates.
